Here is your great list of coffee shops in Fort Myers:

Chocolattes

We’re starting out strong because this my favorite coffee shop on this list! They roast their own beans and roast on site. They also have plenty of great food and bakery items, including healthy options such as acai bowls.

But my favorite part is their coffee flights. Most of the time, the flavors come pre-determined but at Chocolattes you can choose your own coffee flight. With every flight, you get 4 specialty latte flavors. It’s a great way to try several different varieties!

I genuinely loved every single one, but if I had to choose, I think Sunshine in a Cup was my favorite. It had toasted marshmallow and coconut.

They have a great vibe and there is plenty of seating making it a perfect spot to meet friends or do some work.

Bullig Coffee and Bites

Bullig has all of the classics but also has plenty of unique specialty drinks.

My favorite is called “Tat Coconut Thing You Posted”. It is a latte made with caramel sauce, cocoa reduction, coconut milk, whip cream, and toasted coconut. The cocoa reduction and the caramel sauce are original recipes.

They have a full menu with plenty of delicious breakfast choices.

You’ll also love the inviting atmosphere. We visited on a nice day, so we opted to sit on the outdoor patio, which was perfect.

Summer Moon

Summer Moon’s coffee beans are wood fired over Texas oak. They have a few shops, mostly in Texas. Fort Myers is their only location in Florida.

Any place that serves cold brew is pretty solid in my book. But this actually isn’t what they’re most known for.

They are most known for the “moon milk” that they add to their drinks. Moon milk is their own signature sweet cream and you can choose how much you want in your drink. You can order your drink Half Moon Latte (half-sweet), Quarter Moon Latte (1/4 sweet), a Whisper Moon (1/8), or any ratio in between!

Cattyshack Cafe

Cattyshack Cafe is a cat cafe. The cafe and cat lounge are separated by windows to help with allergies and you also need a reservation to hang out with the cats. The majority of visitors are there for the experience, not the coffee. But the best thing about it is that you don’t have to choose!

All of the cats are adoptable through the Gulf Coast Humane Society. They have various experiences that you can book. There is a general cat lounge experience, a cat shack after dark (for ages 18+) on Friday and Saturdays, and a play time for kids under the age of 7.

They also serve wine and beer.

Banyan Cafe

Banyan Cafe is a cute little coffee shop that actually serves their excellent coffee out of a small food truck.

It is a great spot for seasonal specialty coffee drinks. They are located within the Edison and Ford Winter Estates, but you don’t need a ticket to the estates to grab a coffee from the Banyan Cafe.

Good Ground

Good Ground is located in the heart of Downtown Fort Myers making it a good place to start your day before exploring the downtown area.

Their vibe is minimalist and modern yet cozy. The neutral and warm aesthetic welcomes you into a space that feels both trendy and inviting.

They have some specialty drinks and their vanilla syrup is made fresh in-house. I recommend the cinnamon cappuccino or the brown sugar latte.

Urban Buzz Coffee

Urban Buzz Coffee has a location in Cape Coral and one in Estero. So this one isn’t quite as convenient to get to if you’re in downtown Fort Myers. However, it is great coffee and it’s one of the locals’ favorite coffee shops.

They have a little of everything including including your classics, espresso drinks, cold brews, and unique seasonal creations.

Urban Buzz also has a wide variety of smoothies and a small but great menu.

The Urban Buzz in Cape Coral is a drive through coffee shop so it’s a great place to take your coffee to go.

Shift Coffee Bar

Shift Coffee Bar is a smaller coffee shop but it’s worth visiting. It’s located in the same space as an upscale apartment complex.

Their syrups are made in house. They are delicious and good quality! I also really like that they have specialty drinks. They have bright and funky decorations.

There isn’t as much seating here as some of the other coffee shops on this list. It’s a nice place to grab coffee to go.

Dean Street Coffee

Dean Street Coffee is inside the lobby of the Luminary Hotel. It’s a bit of a hidden gem (literally because it’s easy to miss from the street). But it’s a cute spot with a modern/industrial feel and relaxed atmosphere.

They kind of share their space with the hotel lobby. There are plenty of chairs and couches, so it’s a really comfortable place to enjoy your coffee!

You can order specialty drinks and they sell pastries. We really enjoyed their banana bread (which they warmed up) as well.

Another thing worth mentioning is that each one of these coffee shops had great service. I started writing about the friendly staff/friendly service under each coffee shop until I realized we didn’t have a single bad experience with service at any of them!

There is almost nothing I love more than grabbing a delicious coffee before wandering a new town. Hopefully this list helped you find some great coffee options in Fort Myers that both your taste buds and energy levels will thank you for!
